Buccament Bay: Development Update
The Pearl Sets Sail - 24th October 2009
The Galleon Ship was sailed from Indonesia, where it was built, to Singapore and piggy-backed onto a container ship , now being transferred direct to Buccament bay via New Orleans. As you can see, the mast is not yet built but a team of 20 Indonesians wll be flying over to build the mast, put the sails on, as well as cutting the portholes for the cannons.

More pictures from the Buccament Bay site, showing excellent progress around the resort, ahead of the launch of phase 1 on 1st July 2010. The internal picture was taken within Block 2 (which is the apartment block you can see from the photos being built).

An update of the Buccament Bay site, taken on 24th August 2009. The apartment block continues to make good progress, as the resort in general gradually nears completion.
Below the overall site picture is an interior shot of one of the Plantation Villas, which gives a feel for the level of quality and finish throughout the resort.
